Ntiva is a fast-growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) that provides IT services and support. It is one of the larger MSPs with over 100 employees and over 1,500 active clients.


Executive Summary

We worked on Ntiva’s presence on Google for prospects looking for IT Support in the Washington DC metro area. When we started to work with Ntiva, they did not show up for any relevant online searches in the DC area.

Based on the work we did, Ntiva started to get about 14 high-quality Sales Qualified Leads a month from the DC area. With a closing rate of about 20%, this results in 2 to 3 new clients per month. Some of these clients are big contracts.


Most of the new business that Ntiva got was from referrals or networking. For Nitva to grow to the next level, they wanted to do inbound marketing as part of their strategy. However, they were not sure about what kind of marketing would give them the best results. Also, Ntiva wanted to focus on the Washington DC metro area for inbound leads.


This was a typical local SEO project for RiseOak. We started by making changes to the Ntiva website so that it was relevant for the Washington DC area, and for niche keywords such as IT Support, IT Consulting, and Managed IT Services. Then we built the power of the site using high-quality links. Our link strategy included building the brand, identity, and authority for relevant keywords on the site.

Results and Future Plans

Ntiva started to get about 45% of its new business from marketing. And SEO was the primary source of results in Ntiva’s marketing efforts.

Based on the local SEO work we did, Ntiva gets about 2/3 new clients a month on average. Some of these new clients are big contracts. Due to the success of this effort, we started to help Ntiva with SEO based lead generation for the Chicago area as well.
